Sub-Prime Meltdown

The Sub Prime Meltdown has created some devastating side effects. Hundreds line up to withdraw all of their savings from collapsing banks. The U.S. dollar has plummeted. Thousands of homes are being abandoned. Even the high cost of oil is partly caused by the lower U.S. dollar ! It seems that the entire U.S. infrastructure is decaying.

The cause for all of this..............GREED.

The mortgage companies and banks wanted more profits, the home buyers wanted mansions when all they could really afford was 3 bedrooms.

The wealthy with CASH are sure to take advantage of all of this and scoop up undervalued properties by the dozen and the poor man will need to start all over again.

PAY up to $2000 dollars just for a mortgage "LEAD" ???

Here is the latest SCAM. You can PAY up to $2000 dollars just for a mortgage "LEAD" ??? There is no promise that you will ever close the deal, just a "LEAD". They may have even sold the same lead to many more. One company even stated "Unlimited Fresh Same Day Leads, Not Aged Leads". What if you don't like the lead?? What if it is already sold? I suspect that these "companies" don't even exist. It is just another way to fleece the public.

Still looking but prices are still too high in GTA

I'm still looking but you wouldn't believe the 4 room SHACKS GOING FOR $200,000 in Toronto. The Oshawa and Brampton Manufacturing Meltdown may eventually effect even Toronto real estate prices. We'll see.

Another viewing in Brantford but................

It sounds like I found a decent agent in Brantford. I'll be looking at a property soon in that area. However ............................................

Agents more friendly on the East side of Toronto

It seems that GTA real estate agents are more friendly on the East side of Toronto. I was politely escorted to 3 homes on the East side yesterday.
